Webform is the preferred method for consumers to contact you
with privacy requests
Your first tool for accepting privacy requests should be an interactive webform containing all the information a consumer needs to submit a request and to initialize your privacy workflow for fulfilling the request. Hosting a webform
1. Embedded Option
Easily embed our webform into your website by copying some html from your dashboard and pasting into your website. We can provide default styling or automatically make it look like your website like so:

Let us host it for you. We’ll make the webform available at webform.optacy.com for you to link to from your homepage footer, privacy policy or anywhere else you desire. Use our reliable hosting option at no additional cost to you.

If you need “Do Not Sell My Personal Information” functionality, whether you host the form or we do, you can link to the form from your homepage footer to meet this requirement.

Do you offer different rights to each of your jurisdictions? Or do you wish to ask required or optional questions to your user? You can do all that directly from the dashboard. You can
- Define a list of jurisdictions, and select different rights as checkboxes to offer to your consumers.
- Optionally, offer a free textfield for users to type in their privacy requests.
- Define all the questions you need to ask whether optional or required.
- Brand it to look and feel like your website
- All forms come with recaptcha to prevent non-humans to submit requests.
